CERAMIC/PORCELAIN TILE
This is the most common material used, these backsplashes offer an infinite range of style
options. Most ceramic and porcelain tiles are given a glazed or hard non porous finish.
STONE
Natural stone backsplashes bring out an elegant beauty that only nature can provide. Since the
stone is porous, it needs to be sealed periodically. It usually comes in large tiles so it is much
heavier than others.
METAL
A metal backsplash comes in two forms which are tiles and sheets. Even though there are only
two different types they come in many different styles and designs. The lightweight form allows
for diversity in design.
PLASTIC LAMINATE/THERMOPLASTIC
These types of backsplashes are extremely durable due to the nature of the material. We use
the same laminate that is found on the countertops. We can cut and adhere it to the wall in
virtually any color.
GLASS
Glass backsplash offers a unique look that only a few kitchens have these days. The glass is very
durable and cleans easier than any other backsplash. The glass can be designed in either panels
or tile form; we can even use recycled glass for an eco-friendly design.
